Voices of Truth
Conversations with Scientists, Thinkers and Healers
BY NINA L. DIAMOND / Lotus Press (2000)

"Talking with Nina is a stimulating, entertaining and provocative experience. The people in this book – and the author who brought them together – share the gift, the courage, of believing in the possibility of a better world and a better life. We need to hear voices like theirs. We need to believe in change. Approach this book with an open mind, and you will come away rewarded. There is wisdom here, and hope, for those with eyes to see, and ears to hear.” – Rob Killheffer, former Senior Editor, OMNI magazine, from the Foreword

Journalist and writer Nina L. Diamond brings a rare insight and wit to the longest, most in-depth conversations ever published with fourteen prominent and innovative scientists, thinkers and healers, including best-selling authors James Redfield, Deepak Chopra, Brian Weiss, Caroline Myss, and physicist Michio Kaku, as well as award-winning former CNN war correspondent and novelist Charles Jaco, NASA’s JoAnn Morgan, leading neuroscientist Deborah Mash, and Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and director of the Gandhi Institute. Each chapter-long symphony of ideas is an intellectual (and often irreverant) adventure that draws out their knowledge, passion and humor with ease, showing once again that there’s nothing like a good conversation.

Nina L. Diamond writes a monthly commentary/humor column, "Much Ado About Publishing", for INDEPENDENT PUBLISHER, the online magazine, and also contributes feature articles (independent publisher.com). As a journalist and essayist, she has written hundreds of articles for dozens of magazines and newspapers, including OMNI, THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE, THE MIAMI HERALD, and THE LOS ANGELES TIMES MAGAZINE.
She covers the arts and sciences; the media, publishing, and current affairs; and she publishes feature articles, interviews, commentary, humor/satire, essays and book reviews. She also edits both fiction and nonfiction.
She is also the author of the unfortunately titled PURIFY YOUR BODY (Crown / Three Rivers Press, 1997), a book of health reporting that has been a selection of the Book-of-the-Month Club's One Spirit Book Club and the Quality Paperback Book Club.
She was a writer and performer on PANDEMONIUM, the National Public Radio (NPR) satirical humor program, for its entire run in Miami and select markets nationwide from 1984-1998.
